That's the real thing I don't like about the New 52.  They could've worked with what they had, improved the stories and the characters without wiping the slate.  But they chose the Look At Us apploach, making a big deal of erasing history (I am a big fan of history) and starting fresh.  The problem is they only did half a job.  Only half the characters were given the make-over with the other half, including all the Batman characters, chugging along as is.  What that made is a confusing mess of half-assed storytelling trying to explain things.  Like a lot of fans I bought the books to see if they were indeed deserving of the hype.  And like a lot of fans I stopped buying them because they weren't.

Clayface????  Heimdall had more charisma than anyone in the cast?  What movie were you watching?

@tevii Religious people follow a religion, that’s what makes them religious (of, pertaining to, or concerned with religion).

"However, hatred for Jews and Gays stems from dumb-ass religion and the Bible. As long as people believe in that garbage, there will be no outgrowing those prejudices."

Prejudice is unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, especially of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group. Many religious people belong to a religion that believes in the Bible, a book that you referred to as garbage. Referring to the foundation of religious peoples lives as garbage is quite unreasonable, insensitive and prejudice.

I could never bring myself to become as intolerant as someone who refers to a religion’s and the religious’ sacred text as garbage.

@Tjanson, Thor, Loki and Odin were all charismatic, I give you that. But I thought that in the very limited time screen and lines he had to work wiht, Idris Elba was majestic and made quite an impression, At least as much as the major characters.

I don't know about the rest of you, but all those years of Smallville totally made me gay. Tom Welling running around half naked half the time? Yep. That did it. And then Justin Hartley's Green Arrow just made it worse.  Plus spending an afternoon watching TDK with Hanso confirmed it.

Oh, and Jesus wanted me to be gay. That's why He gave me hunky shirtless werewolves in "New Moon" and "Eclipse." :)

My only thought on this is I too wish they had picked Guy.

liberals only tolerate their views. Yeah TJ you're 100%

and gauley who the fukk up brought up politics you did you dumb truck. I was talking about superheroes. You identify your political leanings by your rants. Acceptance and understanding my ass

And pussy asses like you wouldn't be so defensive if there wasn't some truth to it.

People that don't approve of gays or don't want that shoved down their throat have every right to say so. No it doesn't make them bigots because your narrow mind can't accept that. Some, many think it's morally wrong period.

@darthbob- there is no  unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, especially of a hostile nature, towards a racial, religious, or national group.  There is animosity towards the religion itself and its existence. It has more death and hate than anything else on the planet.  Believers believe because they were raised to. Not because it is inherent.

I have a problem with religion: the idea. not the the religious: the followers. In my opinion they arent the same.

Ive read the Bible, (as well as The baghavad Ghita, the koran, the tao te ching) cover to cover. So at least I understand what it is Im against.

So am i intolerant towards someone because they believe? No.  Does the bible spew hate and antiquated ideals? well I guess thats opinion. But history says yes. Given the Crusades, the witch trials, the Spanish Inquisition, Hilter's Positive Christian movement, and the current and neverending hate on the gay and lesbian community.

Im fighting intolerance due to ignorance. So thank you for your opinion.
