Warner Bros. Worldwide Consumer Products and Mattel, Inc. announced that Mattel will receive the master toy licenses for Justice League, Batman, and Superman in a multi-year deal that builds upon the companies' existing partnership.

The deal, which includes several of Warner Bros.' other franchises such as Looney Tunes and Baby Looney Tunes, allows Mattel to create and market products such as vehicles, action figures, playsets, plush, games, puzzles, dolls, adult collectibles and other categories based off of the Detective Comics properties.

Dan Romanelli, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Consumer Products said that a concentrated effort on their core franchises was integral in their strategies, "The super heroic success of the Justice League animated series airing on Cartoon Network and the enduring strength of Batman and Superman, having a single, strong focus on these core franchises cannot be overstated."
