i miss superman the way he used to be too!!!!!

Marvel may rule at the movies ,but DC rules at the comics . better Artists an stories .

I don't think comc artists today have the same identity as they used to.  Today's printing/coloring technology and photoshipping makes average artists look better.  You REALLY had to be a great artist to look good when printed on old newsprint. 

Domino, I agree wholeheartedly! I used to be a major Marvel fan and DC was secondary....but now DC rules! Marvel can't tell individual character stories anymore.... it is all event driven now... it is all a mish mash of Avengers, X-Men & FF plus the villians ...  and the art is damn awful!
