Just to correct something you wrote on James Bond in the 50's. There was an anthology series Climax which adapted Casino Royale, but used Barry Nelson as "Jimmy" Bond. However, they did use Peter Lorre as the villain Le Chiffre. It was in the 60's that Ian Fleming thought of a possible TV series, and I believe out of those discussions and some drafting came Thunderball. ddomer

Steve, I know it was probably a throwaway comment, but telling people to watch the original Casino Royale is like asking someone to listen to Elvira run her fingernails down a blackboard again and again. The movie flat out sucks--in a bad way. If you want to see what the original was like--the closest is to see the TV show Climax, where Barry Nelson was Jimmy Bond, and the late great Peter Lorre was Le Chiffre. ddomer
