De France Joining HEREAFTER

A supernatural film under the direction of Clint Eastwood will likely interest genre fans enough but here's some more news on it. Warner Bros. Variety reports the studio has added Belgian actress Cecile de France (High Tension) to star opposite Matt Damon in the supernatural tale, Hereafter.

Clint will be directing from a screenplay by Peter Morgan. Eastwood, Kathleen Kennedy and Robert Lorenz will produce while Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Peter Morgan and Tim Moore are the exec producers. Production began last month and will take place in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco.

Plot Concept: The story of three people who are touched by death in different ways. De France will portray a French journalist who has a near-death experience.

Hereafter will hit theaters December 2010.
