DEAD AND BREAKFAST, Matthew Leutwyler's take on the "un-dead" genre, is headed to DVD on September 6th from Anchor Bay Entertainment. The film will also be available day-and-date on the Universal Media Disc (UMD) format for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld entertainment system. This is the first time that Anchor Bay simultaneously releases a title in both formats. SRP for the DVD and UMD is $19.98.

Written and directed by Matthew Leutwyler as a personal love letter to horror films, DEAD AND BREAKFAST turns convention on its ear. The story centers on what happens when a seemingly innocent road trip goes awry. Six friends on their way to a wedding in Galveston, Texas stop for the night at a quaint bed and breakfast in the sleepy town of Lovelock. But after a night that ends with both the inn's owner and his chef dead, the gang find themselves under suspicion by the local sheriff. The mystery rapidly deepens when the already bizarre residents of the town become possessed by an evil spirit and pin the friends down at the B&B. Armed with a rusty chainsaw, a can of gasoline and a half box of shotgun shells, they must barricade the house and fight for their lives.

The DVD is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and checks in with a full house of bonus features including:
· Widescreen presentation, enhanced for 16x9 televisions
· Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Matthew Leutwyler, Special Effects Supervisor Michael Mosher and Actor Erik Palladino and Songwriter Zach Selwyn
· Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Matthew Leutwyler and Actors Ever Carradine, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Erik Palladino and Oz Perkins
· Deleted & Extended Scenes
· Bloopers
· Trailers
· Poster/Still Gallery

The film stars Erik Palladino, Oz Perkins, Diedrich Bader, Jeremy Sisto, Portia de Rossi along with a special appearance by David Carradine.
