DEAD director writing TOE TAGS

George Romero to kick off new DC Comics book

At last weekend's WizardWorld convention in Chicago, one of the new comic book projects announced was an ongoing anthology horror series to be published by DC Comics. Dubbed TOE TAGS, the book will be edited by Bob Schreck and feature an ever-changing lineup of writers and artists. Of particular interest is the first writer for the new book: none other than NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD director George A. Romero.

As reported by Newsarama, Romero's story will last six issues and will be drawn by veteran illustrator Richard Corben (DEN). Details concerning what specifically Romero's comic book arc will be about weren't available nor was an intended publishing date for the new series.
