A trailer for the Kevin Bacon starring action/thriller, DEATH SENTENCE, has appeared online courtesy of Yahoo Trailers. The original SAW director James Wan helms this modern take on vigilante styled revenge. It stars Kevin Bacon, Aisha Tyler, John Goodman, Kelly Preston & Stuart Lafferty. The thriller hits theaters on August 31 by distributor 20th Century Fox.

Story Premise: Nick Hume (Bacon) is a mild-mannered executive with a perfect life, until one gruesome night he witnesses something that changes him forever. Transformed by grief, Hume eventually comes to the disturbing conclusion that no length is too great when protecting his family.

Scratch out Sentence and just replace with Wish.

I agree also Pony, but man I'm a sucker for a revenge movie. Plus KB doesn't do near enough main stream movies any more. I mean come on how much time does it take to make those Hanes commercials with MJ? I will definitely be seeing this, but probably on video.

A lot of this movie was shot in Columbia, South Carolina, where I went to college, I tried to get a part as an extra but sadly it didn't happen. Since it was shot in a city I that I lived in, (I just live an hour from Columbia now) I still might go see the movie.
