Del Rey's Dallas Middaugh Interviewed

ICv2 has sat down with the Associate Publisher of the Del Rey Manga line recently in a new three part interview. Mr. Middaugh covers a range of topics and deals squarely with what Kodansha is doing in regards to Del Rey with their licenses, which confirms earlier reports that said the same as well. Talk of digital distribution of manga is ongoing as well as where things stand when it comes to what is manga and what isn't, a line that's continuing to become more and more blurred. Del Rey's involvement with Marvel Comics is still on track for 2009 as well with their Wolverine and X-Men manga being worked on. The state of the manga market is still taking shape this year after the changes made at TOKYOPOP and Del Rey appears to have found a comfortable level to work with at the moment going by this interview.
