
While fan's arehoping Guillermo del Toro follow-up to the hit Blade II will bethe movie version of Mike Mignola's Hellboy, today's Varietysuggests something else.
According toMichael Fleming's Dish column, Del Toro is negotiating to help an adaptation ofH.P. Lovecraft's novel At the Mountains of Madness for DreamWorks.The director will write the script with Mimic collaborator MatthewRobbins.
MichaelDe Luca set up the deal. Susan Montford will produce along with Don Murphy ofAngryfilms.
"This willbe my epic horror film," Del Toro told Fleming.
