Director Guillermo del Toro has talked to us about his latest, BLADE 2, which hits theaters Friday. In the interview, del Toro discussed his hope to amp up the horror of BLADE with the second installment.
"I felt that the two things I could offer to the mythology of BLADE was to upgrade the horror, which the first one didn't have much of, and I felt I could up the ante on the type of action in terms of the camera style and colors," del Toro said. "[I could] make it more like a comic book or a Japanese cartoon very kinetic, but in a different way than the first one."
