Judi Dench gave her approval to new Bond Daniel Craig. She told Reuters, "You will have to wait and see" how she treats Craig as James Bond in their first screen encounter in CASINO ROYALE.

Dench went on to add, "The chemistry happens the moment you meet them or it doesn't happen when you meet them. And I have met him (Craig) and I liked him enormously. We had a laugh and that always bodes well."

I'm confused. I thought this was supposed to be a bond film prequal. If so doesn't M have to be a man. Will someone explain to me what is going on? The original Manager of Universal Exports was a man.

Thanks, gladiatory2k. That clears everything up. I figured it was more of a disguise than a sex change. Any body else have a clue? And I mean seriously.

This overwieght fat slag, would say that if mickey mouse were cast as bond. do the right thing and tell the truth, that this guy is a complete wanker, and it was travesty that Brosnan was fired.

...if this movie bombs... 1. Hopefully not, but if it doesn't look good (too realistic) then it will be like Dalton, 2 and out. 2. Then they will wait about 5-6 years and really ramp up the thirst for Bond. 3. Then we will get force fed 4 special effect laden films and wonder why isn't this Bond like the older Bonds as the current Bond complains that he always wanted to play a grittier bond (like Dolton) but the studio wouldn't let him. 4. Go back to one.

...that would be "R" I really hope that this film does well. I have enjoyed many a Bond film over the years, the Connery and Dolton Eras are most frequently revisited by myself. I'm hoping for a return to the look and feel of "From Russia With Love" and "The Living Daylights" a mesh of those two would be cool... if the producers stick to their guns and produce a film that has the look and feel of the book Casino Royal... then we might have something great.
