DVDReview.com is reporting the details on the highly anticipated SIMPSONS SEASON ONE DVD BOX SET that is due from Fox this fall. So here they are:
- Each episode will be remixed in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.
- Disc One will feature original scripts with notes by Matt Groening for the episodes "Bart The Genius," "Bart The General," and "Moaning Lisa."
- Audio commentaries will be included for the six episodes on Disc One.
- Disc Two features another six episodes plus commentary.
- Disc Three includes the final episode of the first season, plus the original script notes by Groening, outtakes from an un-aired version of an episode, animatics of an episode with commentary by Groening and David Silverman, the BBC Special AMERICA'S FIRST FAMILY, an Easter Egg ABC news special on a reported controversy, the first ever SIMPSONS short from THE TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW, five foreign language clips, early sketches, a stills gallery, and magazine covers.
