If UNREAL 2 has already run its course on your computer and you're looking for some new fragging experiences, DEVASTATION might be for you. Developed by Digitalo and published by ARUSH Entertainment and Groove Games, DEVASTATION employs the UNREAL engine to deliver a post-apocalyptic battlefield on a scarred future Earth. Corporations now control the planet and use "Pacification squads" to eliminate all pockets of resistance, leaving gang members, former military personnel and mercenaries to fight for freedom.

The game allows for multiplayer and single player modes, featuring 36 different levels in all. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and a brand new team-based game called "Territories" are also used. Over 40 weapons can be used including one where the player becomes something called a "rat drone" and can guide the weapon in on their quarry through the drone's perspective.

The game's makers also claim that almost everything can be used by the player in the game, from using the garbage lying in city streets to be used for makeshift traps, or picking up a chair or bottle and smashing it as a diversion.

DEVASTATION is now available for the PC and retails for $39.99. For more information and screenshots, check out the game's official website located at www.devastationgame.com.
