Dexter fans were left with a stunning cliffhanger last season that set into motion the show’s end game. Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) was discovered by his sister Debra (Jennifer Morgan) in the middle of finishing off his latest victim — right after Debra realized she has some rather non-sisterly feelings for him. The seventh season is expected to be the second-to-final round of the acclaimed hit, though that could still change. Dexter returns Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.
Yeah, this show WAS amazing. The last couple years have been a bit of a let down, though. I don't think they've ever recovered from the truly spectacular Trinity Killer season. That season was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. Truly remarkable.
I'm still really pumped for this, though. Even though I may be cynical, it comes from a place of love. Ha!
Gotta disagree, swisshammer. While I admit that season 5 was a tad more on the "meh" side, I really enjoyed season 6. I really enjoyed the Brother Sam character, and I'm glad that Deb finally caught him doing something...you can only go so long within the realm of believability. But yeah, season 4 probably ties with season 2 for my favorite yet.
The last two seasons haven't been as good as season four, but they are still better than half the crap that is on TV right now.

This show is AMAZING. If you haven't watched it yet... get season one... start watching and be blown away. 2 more years?? I love to hear that... and yet... I am sad already...
