DiCaprio and WB Team for a New TWILIGHT ZONE

While it's still early into development with story pitches yet to commence, HR is reporting that a new Twilight Zone is on the horizon, based around one or more episodes of the classic series. Leonardo DiCaprio's production shingle Appian Way and Warner Bros. will be co-producing the feature film. Warners owns rights to the Rod Serling-penned episodes, which comprise the bulk of its 1959-64 run.

Plot Concept: The studio and production company are quietly putting out word to creators that they are looking for pitches and script ideas based on the show for feature development. The companies are not seeking to remake an episodic movie, as the only big-screen version of the show did 25 years ago, but rather hope to build one continuing story line based on one or more episodes.

one continuing story line based on one or more episodes? Does that mean that they are going to intertwine different stories into one story? I guess something like Cats Eye where the cat was involved in all three stories. Either way I hope it comes out good. I love Twilight Zone.

Are the Shat and Lithgow going to be seeing things on the wing again?

I'm down for this and like that DiCaprio's involved.

Twilight Zone is such a great, well known format for amazing storytelling. Every generation deserves their own version.

Ditto. I wonder if Dicaprio plans on being cast in any of the stories or if he's just producing. Leo is a busy boy lately, from producing to working on films of late his name is popping up a lot.

I could see him just doing the Serling-like intros. It would get his face on the screen without requiring a huge commitment of time to star in it.

"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

Lithgow owns Shatner.

One of the only things the movie did correctly.
