Bruce Willis has announced that shooting on a fourth Die Hard movie is as close to starting as ever.

"We're as close as we've ever got to getting Die Hard 4 started," Willis said. "It won't be called Die Hard 4 but that will be the story. Hopefully it will be out next summer."

There had been rumors of script problems slowing development as it seems the script centered on a giant wave hitting New Orleans. A new script seems to have been created and the movie seems to be moving forward. A rumored working title was Die Hard 4: Die Hardest, but that will probably change in the near future if the project gets underway again.

The original Die Hard hit theaters in 1988.

He has both a son and a daughter in the films. As for the plot, it centered around a cruise liner blowing up and causing a huge wave, and him and his son were both involved. There was a disk involved, I think it was what they were after.

I loved Die Hard. Others just ok. I'll probably go see it.

yes i hope they change the title to this. Die Hard 4:Die Hardest sounds dumb to me.

How about this title... 'Die Hard 4: You Luv a Bit of It'

How about, Die Hard 4:Be Cool, Die Hard. That's the way I wanna go, though it would be horrible for the other person, so maybe not.

I liked all three flicks, and wouldnt mind seeing more adventures of John McClaine on the big screen. Did anybody see Over the Hedge this weekend? Willis as RJ the Raccoon! whata hoot! He's still got it, he was great!!

I enjoyed all three of the Die Hard films. Willis is an interesting actor, but has has more misses than hits. When he's on like Unbreakable, Sixth Sense, Die Hard he is solid. Otherwise, it looks like he is just going through the motions. It really boils down to will depend on how well scripted the film is as to how good it will be.

Yuppers that was the rumor a few years back. I still think it would be a great idea just stay away from firewalls.
