
"The Pacifier" starrig Vin Diesel beat out "Be Cool" to be the number one film at the box office over the weekend. The Walt Disney Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment produced project pulled $30.2 million. MGM's "Be Cool" landed in second place with an estimated $23.5 million. Sony's "Hitch" took third place with an estimated $12.5 million, while Lions Gate's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" dropped into the fourth. Rounding out the top five was Warner Bros. Pictures' "Million Dollar Baby" took in an estimated $8.5 million. Warner Independent Pictures' "The Jacket" only brought in an estimated $2.7 million.
