For the second time now, a director has backed out of the superhero drama Tonight, He Comes which stars Will Smith.
Jonathan Mostow was the original director and he left because of creative differences regarding the film. Gabriele Muccino, who enjoys a good relationship with Smith from other projects, joined up next. Muccino has now also backed out as he apparently decided the story about a superhero in a midlife crisis wasn't something he wanted to tackle.
The split was reportedly amicable and the movie remains on track for shooting next year.
