Walden Media has selected Rpin Suwannath to direct the science fiction thriller, THE LOTUS CAVES. This will be his directorial debut and has previously worked at Industrial Light & Magic working on series such as The Matrix, Chronicles of Narnia, the X-Men films & Mr. and Mrs. Smith. This film will be an adaptation of the 1969 John Christopher novel of the same name.
Plot Summary: A sci-fi thriller is set in the year 2068, with humans living on the moon in vast colonies of airtight bubbles. Two teens break out and embark on a quest to find magical, legendary caves.
