DOUBLE JEOPARDY director Bruce Beresford has been hired to helm the thriller/drama
THE CONTRACT for Emmett/Furla Films and Millennium Films. The story follows a father's quest to stop an assassin and redeem himself in the eyes of his son. No cast members have been announced as of yet. The project was written by Stephen Katz and John Darrouzet.
Beresford was nominated for a Best Director Oscar for his work on
TENDER MERCIES. His last project was the HBO film
AND STARRING PONCHO VILLA AS HIMSELF.
