Yeah... shouldn't it say that "Lawrence will direct not one, but THREE movies"?

Thanks to Chopsaki for the submission.

No, considering the article is about how they found a director for Mockingjay, and Mockingjay will two movies. The one he's directing now doesn't count.
Actually, there is more than enough material in that book to be covered in two moves. Now granted, they will be two long, boring, depressing movies that will probably not be worth watching, but if they cover everying in that book it would almost have to be two movies. I was really underwhelmed by that book.
It sort of sounds like I'm arguing with redslayer, but really I think we are both kind of on the same track... I think. :)
I thought the first film was laughably bad. Not sure of the appeal. Maybe the book was better. So, I'll be skipping the rest of this series.
The appeal is this generations perceptional approach to reality which is the wealthy are evil and if you are not wealthy then you are a victim. That is the message they want to push. It is tired, unoriginal and most of all untrue.
This is why the youth of our country today are so freaking stupid and deluded. My daughter saw this and said that is why she hates the wealthy. I responded that perhaps since the wealthy are paying for her needs she should consider that first. Saw the first movie, was not impressed.
There is not enough crap going on on that book to justify spliting the thing into 2 movies. They Just want to Milk the cow till the milk starts to como pink with blood
