Director to see the HORROR

Be nice, it's his big break into movies

The director for the remake of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR has finally been found and it's Andrew Douglas. Who's Andrew Douglas? As seems to be the trend these days, the gentleman in question carved a name for himself directing music videos and commercials. AMITYVILLE is to be his feature film debut. Make it count Andrew; no pressure!

The film will be a co-production between MGM and Dimension Films, with Platinum Dunes (the film production company that brought us THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) also onboard. Filming is anticipated to commence in July.
