The Director's Guild of America has announced its nominations for this year's DGA awards, and three genre directors have been recognized for their work. Peter Jackson was nominated for his LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING, while Ridley Scott received a nod for BLACK HAWK DOWN. Tagging along was newcomer Christopher Nolan for his unique thriller MOMENTO.
The nominations are usually a precursor to the directing nominations for the Oscars.
