Walt Disney Feature Animation has acquired a pitch called NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS (also known as MONSTER KIDS). The project was conceived by first-time writers Matt Cunningham and Erik Gardner, and will tell the story of a family of kids with special powers who must rescue their parents from an evil scientist.
The project, for which Cunningham and Gardner will write the script, has been placed on the fast track as a CGI crafted feature film.
