I think Brandon Routh was a good Superman also.  Maybe Zack can give him some pointers on acting for the role to give us the Superman we've been waiting for.

Let's spell things out, please?

@redvector  Actually, if you market it correctly and the trailer shows a lot of cool special effects and action the average moviegoer will be lined up to see the movie.

Re: Routh in Superman.

I say cast him.

It's a free society. 'Cept that there aint nothing free, you know. You're on your own with no guarantees. Law of the jungle, ho,ho,ho...

I have to admit, i do quite like Hugh Jackman's take on Logan, but He's just not MY Wolverine, my wolverine is a short ugly hairy guy and if Marvel gets X-Men etc. back I would loike to see the character re-cast...

That said as long as Sony don't mess the new Spidey up, I'd be glad to see Andrew Garfield in an avengers cameo, doing the Peter Paker photojournalist thing...

Hey Rheul, there could be a way...

Re-cast Kevin Spacey as Mister Mxyzptlk and cast Bruce Willis as President Lex Luthor in a minor role...

That way you can re-cast everyone except Routh because it was all a terrible nightmare...!

I would love it if Disney bought back the rights for Marvel's characters, then we might be lucky enough to see Marvel produce movies of all these characters in a shared universe like we have in the comics!

check out my web-site!

Something is wrong with this site of late. I see less and less of the people who used to come here and a lot more spammers.

Well, I can see Brandon Routh as Superman again. It's not a sequel to Superman Returns, so let him have the cape back.

krathwardroid 10/19/2010 12:59:08 PM

redvector: Oh, we do. We do very much. The thing is is that people have been wanting a specific kind of Superman movie. Ever since Superman III, they haven't been delivering on that.

lancedenier 10/19/2010 1:06:48 PM

Snyder has already said that there will be no connection to previous movies.  It makes no sense to bring Routh back.  Armie Hammer FTW.  That being said, I won't be terribly dissapointed if they bring Routh back.  Just have him punch something for Rao's sake!
