According to the Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Pictures has given the green light to a movie project based on a Disneyland ride called JUNGLE CRUISE.

The ride sees parkgoers travel the jungle river guided by a riverboat skipper, encountering such wild creatures as pirhanas and gorillas during their tour. The ride was one of the 22 original attractions when the park opened in 1955.

Al Gough and Miles Millar are currently in negotiations to write the script for the film.

Don't you mean Tomorrowland Transit Authority? Or is this a retro movie that takes place before it changed? Let me guess, it's in an alternate reality where the name never changed. And Walt is still alive and has expanded his empire to rule the US. Tomorrow, the world!! Bwahahahaha!!!

"Teacups: The Movie...of Death" I work at Disney and I know this is just one of many great scripts in the works. This movie isn't for kids though. It's kinda like a mix of Kill Bill and Showgirls, except with more killing and nudity.

let's not forget Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy... another failed Disney movie based off a ride. at least the music for the movie The Country Bears was halfway decent... i mean come on, they're bears... it's pretty impressive that they can play instruments at all
