Here is the final theatrical trailer for Divergent. I know I am not the target audience, but even they must see the similarities to The Hunger Games. I hope that it is something different. If anything, let’s just hope it is a good story.

Synopsis: DIVERGENT is a thrilling action-adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities.  Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it's too late.  DIVERGENT is based on the best-selling book series by Veronica Roth.

DIVERGENT features SHAILENE WOODLEY, THEO JAMES, JAI CORTNEY, RAY STEVENSON, ZOË KRAVITZ, MILES TELLER, MAGGIE Q, TONY GOLDWYN, ASHLEY JUDD, ANSEL ELGORT, MEKHI PHIFER, BEN LAMB, BEN LLOYD-HUGHES, CHRISTIAN MADSEN, AMY NEWBOLD and KATE WINSLET.

DIVERGENT is based on the novel by VERONICA ROTH.

DIVERGENT arrives March 21, 2014.

Total cr_p. Nothing like some condescending self-aggrandizing teen angsty pile of narcissistic cinematic doo-doo to keep people from the theaters.

Funny thing- This sh_tty formula worked for The Hunger Gmes, Harry Potter, Twilight, etc...

I have absolutely no desire to see this. I'm just curious to see if they'll get to make their trilogy as they seem to expect or if like, The Host, Beautiful Creatures and Mortal Instruments it's destined for one and out

Yup.

That's the problem with these movies Wiseguy. They all start to resemble each other. Those three you mentioned are prime examples of "which one is which?"  Kind of reminds me of the 90s boy bands. I could never tell between Backstreet Boys and N Sync (and a few others), they catered to the same audience and they all sounded and pretty much looked the same.

I know I am pissing in the wind, but I would hope I never have to see anything about Divergent again on this site.
