After joining forces on the actioners EXIT WOUNDS and ROMEO MUST DIE, Joel Silver (DIE HARD, THE MATRIX) and rapper DMX are talking about joining forces again to remake... a 1930s German language classic.
I kid you not.
The film, M, was one of director Fritz Lang's (METROPOLIS) best known works, and centers on a series of child murders in a city which gets the cops so worked up that their investigation and pressure on the criminal class make it impossible for a self-respecting outlaws to get their work done. Intent on continuing their thug ways, a group of outlaws band together to find the child murderer so they can then get on with their lives.
No word from DMX or Silver on what the new title of the film would be.
