Behind Enemy Lines, perhaps.

CJ Entertainment and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura have found some writers to flesh out the script for their upcoming action-thriller, DMZ. Variety reports the team have signed on the writing team Jeremy Passmore and Andrew Fabrizio, the team behind the upcoming Hellified for Paramount Pictures. Passmore was also a co-writer on MGM's upcoming remake Red Dawn. Di Bonaventura will produce via his shingle.
Plot Concept: The story centers on a U.S. satellite that crashes in the Korean Demilitarized Zone and an unlikely international group of soldiers who unite to enter the DMZ and retrieve the satellite despite the imminent threat of hostile North Korean soldiers. The disparate heroes soon learn that there is something much more deadly in the DMZ than enemy soldiers.
Hmmmm.....Let me guess. Instead of a satellite, its actually some kind of alien spaceship. Now the soliders gotta contend with some kind of alien monster. Think you're right Wiseguy. Ok idea for a Predator sequel.

This was the final-sequence plot for GI Jane... minus the aliens/monsters, of course.
AH MAN! I thought this was going to be a Brian Wood adaptation. Cool storyline though.
Fuck, this storyline would have made a great sequel to Predator
