Blade 4 would be Awesome because 1 and 2 were the definitive Marvel movies of the time!  Trinity was boring... so was Spiderman 3 (3 seems to be Marvel's current thorn, accept for Fantastic 4 which both sucked).   Blade deserves to be redeemed with a better movie. Not about Whistler, not about other hunters, but about Blade doing what he does best...

Doc Savage is long long overdue, all the way back to when Arnold was supposed to play him.

A period Doc film true to the original pulps would rock my world. Here's hoping....

Doc Savage Shane Black = I'm there. I wish he would get more work, I love his stuff. Here's hoping that Doc Savage gets a good treatment.

Doc Savage With Dwayne Johnson as Doc would be cool but set it in the orginal time frame that the pulp  stories were written. In the modern era it wouldn't work. Make it in the same vein as the Mummy films and this could be a huge franchise.

Superhero Squad works because it's for's successful because they can see heroes not being the ones that they are in the comic books and movies. It's supposed to be fun and campy.

Doc Savage: YES I hadn't thought about Dwayne Johnson, but not a bad choice?

Blade 4: It can work if they leave it the way it ended in 3 with him going on to kill the threat and no other team players. Just him killing Vampires, and him dealing with the thrist.....Snipes won't give up his franchise, but he should. Blade could use a restart. With Hollywood being all things vampire these days, I don't know if it wouldn't be such a bad idea.....and go for an R rating.

IM2: This will be good...not a concern there.

Yeah, I really don't see War Machine in Avengers (Least not the first one.) but Rhodey making a cameo out of suit is a possibility.  A War Machine franchise would be cool. As for stoylines available.  Only a select few comicbook-based movies have actaully used available storylines so I'm sure they can come up with something.  My favorite WM appearence was when he teamed up with Silver Surfer and Thunderstrike to stop Nebula in the Secret Defenders but TS willl never happen so...

To everyone who asked, Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison as of 2008, but has remained free on bail while his appeal is pending. Likely, he won't be going behind bars.

I'm eager to see a new Blade movie. Glad they may actually do a sequel as opposed to a reboot.

As for Doc Savage, Iron Man 2, and Solomon Kane... All very nice.

monkeyfoot, grat call on Doc Savage, Dwayne Johnson is perfect plus he already has bronze skin. I'm down with that choice

calibur454 maybe they go with an original story for WM like jfdavis said. Something along the lines of the first IM, actually getting involved in some warfare or even like WM's first arc in his current series.

TheScriber 2/23/2010 11:38:15 AM

Dwayne Johnson is the man of bronze. Die his hair lighter though.

I'd be down for Blade 4.  The only bad one was the third one, which wasn't terrible, but definitely the worse of the three.
