So I guess this means that the special will air in the middle of the afternoon here in the States?

A whole week of Dr. Who?! Oh, I wish I had more DVR space!

This is the first time I've heard about the US showing the movie in 3D. I was afraid that would only happen in the UK. Now...where are these select cities? I'm guessing the closest one to me will be Chicago (4 hours), but I'm kind of hoping there will be one in Kansas City (closer to 5 hours) where my brother (also a fan) lives.

I wonder when the show will be shot in high def?  Seems like it's shot in standard def.  Don't they know we have high rez tv's?  Either that or At&t and Comcast don't have HD channels for BBC.

Dazzler - BBCAmerica is available in HD, but not on AT&T.  I'm assuming Comcast doesn't have it either.  I know Time Warner does and almost considered switching to them just to watch Doctor Who in HD.
