Holy crap! I have been waiting since 1996 for McGann to be back. He showed such promise and potential and then...nothing. This short should be an entire episode! It would have been great to have McGann and the Time War for an entire EP!!!!!

Whoa...I just geeked out.

Who plays the Doctor at the end? I can't put a name to the obscured face.

Actually, is that supposed to be John Hurts Doctor... just younger ?

raynardmuldrake 11/14/2013 2:45:37 PM

Yep..thats John Hurts Doctor. And this was awesome...Paul McGann was great.

Oh my giddy Aunt. Excellent.

My jaw literally dropped and my brain froze when I saw McGann.  Seriously, I was sitting there gawping, making faint 'urh urh urh" seal-like noises for a good 20 seconds.  And then the Sisterhood of Karn made an appearance as well!  And the fact that it was a much younger John Hurt is interesting, suggesting he was in that incarnation for a long time.

Best. Doctor. Adventure. Yet. And it's only 6 minutes long!

One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then there are to be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.

Like many of you, I'm sure, I had heard some rumblings about a possible McGann involvement so when I heard that voice, I recognized it immediately. I am thrilled that we got to see him...though it left me wanting more.

Eight more days!
