David Morrissey has been cast as the leading man in BASIC INSTINCT 2: RISK ADDICTION reveals The Hollywood Reporter. The story to the 1993 thriller has been rewritten so that it now takes place in London, England. Morrissey's character, Dr. Andrew Glass, once a New York-based psychologist, is now British and working for Scotland Yard. Glass is assigned to evaluate the mental state of Sharon Stone's character, Catherine Tramell, who has moved from San Francisco to across the Atlantic pond.
Filming on the MGM picture is now scheduled to begin in March.
