The BBC released the first preview of the next Series (we call it a "Season" in the states) of Doctor Who. As you can see the Doctor (Matt Smith), Amy (Karen Gillan), Rory (Arthur Darvill) and a few familiar friends are back for another series of adventures. It is also great to see that dusters are still very cool. Series 7, episode 2 “Rory’s Dad” does not yet have an official release date. Keep checking in with Mania for all your Doctor Who news.
Generic cyborg? Cowboys vs aliens me thinks with a bit of terminator/trek. Nice to see Moffitt is being original. Better be good this season.
The only other time they've done a Western episode of Dr Who was The Gunfighters, way back in the Hartnell era, and its considered to be the worst Who serial of all time. Looks like they may redeem themselves.
And am I the only person who just loves that distinctive theme they use for Matt Smith's Doctor?
I haven't watched Doctor Who on the regular since it was on PBS when I was a kid.
