Adrian Brody: Yes, yes, yes.

Olyphant would work also if they went the route of rich, arrogant, good-looking doctor who has to learn humility through his mistakes. That was one of Dr. Strange's origin stories if I remember correctly.

@dojen1 - Adrian Brody is a great idea.

I've never been disappointed with the casting done by Marvel Studios up to this point, so I'm sure whoever they choose will be fine.  I'm far more interested in how the movie is handled.  Is Doctor Strange going to be in The Avengers 3, or is the film just the first in a line of supernatural comics movies?  Will Doctor Strange be followed up with The Nightstalkers, Morbius, Werewolf by Night and Satana, culminating in a Legion of Monsters movie?

A little known actor called Emun Elliot. BBC's  'The Paradise' fits very nicely indeed.

There will be a Cap 3 and Thor 3 as part of some their contracts.

Not sure about an Iron Man 4 as RDJ will probably be asking a lot of coin.

I want Jim Caviziel. He was almost Cyclops. Give him anther Marvel character.

All I know is who ever does play Doc Strange needs to have tons of class and style.  That is a must.

One just came to me- Bennedict Cumberbatch.  I know he's British, but I've always thought of wizards and sorcerers as having an English accent anyway.

Yes, this great news...but how will they handle the origin? Another rich guy who abandons the western world and is trained by a myserious sect in the Himilayan mountains...kinda got used with Batman Begins.

Well, zipahead, I agree that the intial setup might be the same. But once he starts learning the mystic arts, its another universe entirely. And in a very literal sense.  I think there's plenty of daylight between batman and dr strange.

Here's a thought to play Dr Strange. How about Bradely Cooper?  Hes got lots of charms and pretty good acting chops. Just saw him in Ateam on TNT. Loved him to death.
