I've never seen it but I want to. I definitely want to see the new one. So - is the new one different? Because there's no mention of the kid in the review.

I remember my parents watching this when I was a kid and I hid behind the couch and sneaked peeks. I have not seen this movie since 1973 and I have never forgotten the bathroom scene or the final scene. Scared the crap out of me!

 I barely remember this showing on TV.  But, I love the Night Gallery and Twilight Zone.  Not to mention Trilogy of Terror...so, this might be right up my alley.  

 This movie scared me so badly when I was a kid that I still get the shivers thinking of it over thirty years later.  And I saw it on a sunny Sunday afternoon; I can only imagine watching it in the dark.
