The folks at Toonzone News are attending the "Nickelodeon Upfront" presentation in New York City this morning where they live blogged the news as to what to expect from the channels in the coming months, as multiple broadcasters are laying down their plans for spring and fall seasons. Anime fans may be surprised to see Dragon Ball Z Kai airing on the Nicktoons, but the Nickelodeon has aired other more kid-friendly shows there over the years such as Tokyo Mew Mew, Blue Dragon and even Starblazers. The channel is more known for its much younger anime programming though, material that most adult anime fans don't think of in the same way as it's aimed at Very Young Children.
According to Toonzone News, we should expect across the various Nickelodeon channels:
FUNimation has plans to release the first box set of Dragon Ball Z Kai on DVD and Blu-ray in May. You can find more information on recent Dragon Ball Z Kai news and releases HERE.

What?! No 3 episodes of powering up before the 30 second fight scene? Maybe this will be a Dragonball series I can actually sit through without throwing my hands up in frustration. I don't know how many episodes of Z that I fast forwarded through 90% of.
Planet Sheen??? that smells of a tv show spinn off from jimmy neutron. not sure how to take this one
Voltron and Dragonbal might be interesting to watch but not quite so sure will have to wait and see
I wish they would do more filler stuff for DBZ actually. Some good stories waiting for me are...
The Bulma/Vegetta love story would be funny/cool.
Gohan finishing High School.
others after I think about it.
Didn't we already go thru this?? DragonballZ back on television and it looks like the exact same series - 0 new episodes.
Good luck with that.
