I never watched the cartoon, but this trailer looks pretty damn cheesy. I think I'll pass...

holy shit... that trailer was WAAAYYYY better and more promising than the last one. DBZ in itself is a cheesy cartoon for kids mostly anyway fft5305... so dont expect too much non-cheesiness.

But yea.... atleast they got the energy blast scenes goin. Im sure theyll save the super saiyans for the sequels.

Like wow, that was soooo much better than i had been expecting. I knew i was always gonna see this movie due to my obsession with DBZ as a teen, but im actually a lot more happy and a tidbit excited to see it now. Unlike most fanboys, my fangirldom allows me to accept the changes theyve made even be interested in seeing them.

Not faithful to the cartoon in the slightest, but it has my interest.

It's major problem is with a March 13th release it will be head to head with Watchmen's second weekend, which will be a word of mouth film. I expect for Watchmen to beat it, it's second weekend.

Sorry Fox, better sit 2009 out.

Looks slightly better than He-Man. Another "everthing takes place in the dark to make the effects look better" movie. I'll watch for the girls that's it.

At least Capsule Corp is in it!  That was true to it.  All the blah blah blah about being true to the cartoon is redundant and unnecessary.  The same complaints were said about Transformers and look how that turned out.  Visually it looks like Dragonball to me.  It sounds like Dragonball... Kamehameha's are in it.  Cities destroyed in it.  Dragonballs in it.  Sounds right to me.  Don't be a backseat film critic.

Rental is too kind.  This is for when it airs on FOX and there is shit to watch and even then you might want to skip it. 

StreetFighter: Chun Li gonna be better than this so you know it's bad.
