This one is a bit of a tease as Disney cuts out the S.H.I.E.L.D. footage that was shown. Nonetheless here is Day 3  from D23 where Disney highlighted ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The presentation was hosted the President of Marvel Television and Executive Producer of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jeph Loeb. Enjoy.

Synopsis: Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on September 24th only on ABC.

So far, this looks like a can't miss show.

Pretty girls, Marvel characters... Agent Coulson... Win, Win, Win!

It's funny how Marvel made up a character for the movies that took off and got it's own show, brain washing at it's best.  Of course I will watch the show also.  Show should of course have focused on Nick Fury.

I really hate to be the one to break this to you, Dazz, but aren't ALL of Marvel's characters 'made up'?

I liked pushing daises too and yea I think this should be decent.

meh, another "mutant" of the week paste and cut formulaic CSI with sci fi lookalike. i'll watch the first couple... i'll be delightfully surprised if it isn't, but i already know how these networks operate. if this was AMC or F/X, then i'd have a lot more hope.

I think, knowing Joss from his work, possibly has both seasons 2013-14 and 2014-15 basically plotted and at some point will introduce ant man and ultron on the series before going to avengers 2, or at least will tangentially connect the tv series to avengers 2

CalamityJohnson...I hear what you are saying.  I've never seen anything like this do well on one of the major networks. The big 4 networks are very ratings driven and impatient.  The only good news is that they've put it in the 8 PM ET family viewing spot usually reserved for sitcoms...instead of the prime 9 PM or more adult targetted 10 PM slots where the competition is tougher.

CalamityJohnson 8/13/2013 11:17:17 PM

that's good news? to me that bodes even worse. means it will be toned down, less grit, and made for mass appeal rather than good storytelling... they needed to take risks to make this good, and i'm worried it'll just be something run 'o the mill, good enough to keep it's time slot, sell some commercials, slapped with the "from the makers of The AVengers" to get it an audience to sustain it halfway through one season.... and perhaps even a 2nd season approved, but really never making any kind of splash at all. Forgetable.

But... damn, if i'm pleasantly surprised, I'll gladly eat my humble pie. SHIELD could be awesome. From what I've seen it's nothing new.... bordering on boring cliche.

Obviously Calamity, you don't know Joss.
