Sentai Filmworks is pleased to announce that the hit series Clannad will be receiving an English dub. Originally released in a subtitled only format, Clannad is receiving the dub as part of an agreement in which several affiliated groups have come together to create English language versions for five of Sentai’s most popular titles.

Best news I've heard in a while, I think I actuall like Sentai films now. Will pre-order them as soon as possible, especially Clannad! Very happy :D
Now, It is Nozomi Entertainment's turn to english dub all ARIA seasons and two other new titles.. like rental magica and junjo romantica..
Holy crap this is awesome. The only problem I see, is if they don't dub Clannad After Story. It would be pretty lame to do only half the series.
That said, Sentai has just earned themselves my cash.
It's obvious that I really can't say anything here without making insults towards the animu otaku-base.
I guess it's true. The daylight savings time does screw people up.
as picky as i am about my anime titles without a dub make the decisons even harder. I honestly hope sentai keeps going with this. Hopefully they will add dubs to all of there other titles. I do like the occasional anime without a dub. I got a kick out of To love ru and Kashimashi.These are titles without english dubs.
I think a dub for Clannad ~After Story~ will depend on how well the dubbed Clannad sells. If Clannad dubbed sells well I can see them going back to dub ~After Story~.
This also gives me hope now that Hell Girl 2 could see a dub after all. I think that if the sub only sets sell well as these five then they could go back to dub Hell Girl 2. But I am still happy I can get Hell Girl 2 in the States dub or no dub.
