Kristen Dunst is talking about what's on the mind of most genre fans right about now: SPIDER-MAN. She's also defending director Sam Raimi's surprise casting of Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker.
"People don't necessarily picture him doing this kind of role, but they haven't seen him beefed up like this," Dunst told ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. "He got ripped for this film! People are going to be amazed by his fighting scenes. He shows that he can be very tough, and combined with his shy Peter Parker side, it's pretty amazing... I was a little intimidated at first. But he was very sweet to me. The first day we worked together, he brought me a yellow flower -- yellow being the symbol of friendship. And he told me, 'I'm so happy to be working with you. If you hadn't agreed to take this part, we wouldn't have a movie.' He was a total gentleman about everything."
