Eliza Dushku (TRUE LIES, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) has signed to star in a new independent horror film produced by longtime special effects and make-up maven Stan Winston.

The film, WRONG TURN, will tell the story of a group of newly minted adults who find themselves at the mercy of three creepy, DELIVERENCE-like 'mountain men.'

Desmond Harrington, Jeremy Sisto and Emmanuelle Chriqui have also signed to star, under the direction of Rob Schmidt (CRIME AND PUNISHMENT IN SUBURBIA) and memorizing the script of Alan McElroy (SPAWN).

Winston is set to produce and create the special effects for the flick. According to the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, the script is a throwback to 1970s horror films like TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.
