Wolverine: Origin trailer

Has your opinion changed?

Shout! Factory has released their trailer for Wolverine: Origin. Check it out below. I read some of your thoughts on the opening title sequence (seen here). Some of you like motion comics, others find it lazy. After watching the trailer, have your thoughts/ opinions changed?

Synopsis: To many, Wolverine is Marvel's finest hero — the best there is at what he does. Genetics, environment, divine intervention: what incredible forces created this man — the world's greatest killing machine with a heart as big as the great outdoors?

Years into the past, we find three friends, brought together through fate, soon to be divided by tragedy. James Howlett, a sickly boy, stuck in a world where the weak are mocked and left behind. Rose, a young orphan girl summoned to work at the wealthy Howlett estate. And Dog, a poor boy abused by his father, with no hope for a better life. Three friends on the verge of having their innocence shattered. Three companions about to be confronted by the most shocking events of their young lives.

Welcome to the greatest story never told.

MARVEL KNIGHTS ANIMATION’S WOLVERINE: ORIGIN debuts for the first time on July 9, 2013 from Shout! Factory.

I dig these a lot. Maybe it's nostalgia for those old Marvel cartoons that made such a huge impression on me as a tot.

Motion comics are sweet. sometimes I don't feel like pulling out issues or books off the shelf, I can just lay back and relax on the couch and watch my favorite issues. the addition of voice overs and sound effects is a nice change to reading. yes, its kind of lazy, but also a cool new way to enjoy comics, like halfway between a comic and a cartoon. we like animated comic adaptions, don't we? No one thought you were lazy for watching the 2 part Dark Knight Returns animated movie, so why are you lazy for watching a motion comic?

I don't know. Seems kinda cheesy to me... This one. Not motion comics in general.

Lame. Marvel Animation blows chunks. Great live action movies but crap cartoons. For the most part.

Marvel animations always hurt the insides of my body.
