Ditto to what almostunbiased just said. Those ones are kewl... but really really easy. They should keep points for those ones, too. lol.... Just kidding!

Next Round of MANIA Trivia Online - Apr 23, 2008 - 04:46am
I was thinking along those very lines, too, ponyboy. I looked at the people with the perfect scores or the close to perfect scores and thought to myself someone's probably just using multiple sign-ins just so they can proclaim themselves as #1. My own score should be somewhat higher as well, but because I spelled it incorrectly or was hasty in my submitting, I stand where I stand. THATS real. THATS how it should be played. Honestly and imperfectly.

Cartoon Network Upfronts Look Promising - Apr 07, 2008 - 08:52am
:( Is that to be the look of the show, then? Like the new take on Spider-Man, I'll give this a look, but just from the 'Retro' look, I don't think I'll follow it as much as I did the Justice League. Oh, and... I have not bothered to continue with the Spectacular Spider-Man either. Personally, I thought it was too soon since we had what...? TWO other versions BEFORE this one in the last few years? ...... Meh. Anyhoo... that's my two cents (Oh, and if it passes with our gov't, we Canucks may have to start saying: Our Ten Cents if they decide to do away with the 1 cent penny). Adeus!

Ruffalo Investigates in SHUTTER ISLAND - Nov 27, 2007 - 02:31pm
Hehehe... looking at the attached pic, I was just going to say; "Ruffalo as another investigator/cop in another time crime flick, huh?, didn't he just do Zodiac?" Yep, he's typecasted! lol.... Seriously, though, I liked Zodiac. And Ruffalo's an alright character actor, too.

Kevin Smith to Direct BSG Episode? - Aug 28, 2007 - 11:03am
Hmmm. I realize everyone is entitled to an opinion of the stories posted herein and without... but I'm curious as to why metalwater always seems to chime in with something negative. Me personally? I really don't much care WHO directs a BSG episode as long as they don't do something horrendously insipid, and that it doesn't take away from established norms of the characters and the show. Plus, I don't think that that the producers would let that kinda thing happen anyway, even if KS is kind of a 'big name' around them there parts. As for a movie like Dogma? I liked it. Mallrats, clerks? Never seen 'em. Didn't pique my interest. But that's just me. Me mudder always told me: "If you have nothing nice to say about something, then don't say a damned thing." Anyways, peeps... Peeeeeeeeeeeace!

Early Glimpse of WOLFMAN - Jul 03, 2007 - 12:25pm
Alright... Del Toro as WOLFMAN, hmm?... okay, and at some point in the movie, probably in the first few minutes I would think, we'll get to see what happened with Jack Nicholson's character from that other wolfman movie a while back , huh? cuz, yannow, I'd like to see some more action with Michelle Pfeiffer. But... that's just me. hahaha. Hmmm.

GHOST RIDER Fires Up in Rentals - Jun 21, 2007 - 01:36pm
Hmm. All your comments about this movie have a ring of truth to it. I, too was all psyched about this movie, but I had to contain myself because of the all too familiar disappointments with comic book characters going to the big screen. While they've appeared to have much better efforts than say in the mid 80's to 90's TV attempts (Rex's black coloured Daredevil suit, Rhys-Davies' Kingpin, to that god-awful Thor in the HUlk movie, and... yes that stinker I've never seen (Nick Fury). But, from what I've read so far, the problem with GR was the limited budget they had. GR's fx ate ALOT of their budget. After you do GR some justice for his on-screen appearances, what do you have left? about what we were given I'd say. Not a muck-of-a-lot. But, after learning this, I did take some satisfaction just seeing GR up on the big-screen done right, and not some lame half-assed attempt (* see unreleased Fantastic Four movie, or that Captain America stinker). So... take it for what it was. Peace Out!

"Elseworlds Series 3" - Apr 03, 2007 - 12:29pm
Hahaha. Yeah, I was thinking that very thought, myself.... but enamic5 beat me to typing it out. Yeah, I know ya meant 'POINT'. Sheesh, some people glower for no good reason. Man!

"Heroes'" Sylar is Misunderstood? - Jan 29, 2007 - 08:22am
I wondered about that very same thing myself... once Sylar opens up his victim, how DOES he alter himself so that he can 'steal/duplicate' their power? He doesn't appear to open himself up, or have someone do it for him, so... how exactly does he 'take' on the victim's ability?... and on that question, when he alters/modifies himself to have one ability, the possibility arrises that one of the next victims he comes across, that he would have to undo one of the things he's already changed within himself, doesnt it?... or am I just being over-analytical? lol Maybe that's why he's a freakin psycho! He's warped his brain wayyyyy too much. haha. Uhm... anyhoo, mimicing works for me, too.

"Manhunter" Cancelled - Jan 18, 2007 - 08:26am
Never even heard of this character. First thoughts I had were that of the Daredevil rip-off, and Jonn Jonnz finally decided on a gender and accepted Earth as his new home. Her costume sure doesnt look very kewl either. Yep, I can see why it got axed. Long Live Bruce Wayne and Matt Murdoch!

Elfman to Score Spider-Man 3? - Dec 26, 2006 - 09:02am
I know my opinion don't really matter... but... I don't much care for Elfman's style of music. He and Tim Burton's styles go well together, I'm sure... which is probably why I don't care much about Tim Burton's direction style either. I think he should stick to those animation type movies (which I've never watched, by the way). I'm curious though... why is it that the DC comics to movies soundtracks have much better soundtracks?? They have memorable choruses (if you call it that, with the exception of the Tim Burton /Elfman Batman flicks that is), and you can easily associate the music with that movie's character, but we haven't been able to do that with any of the Marvel movies.
