I'm watching this a minimum of 2 times. One HFR 3D I-Max and one I-Max 3D. And if it's as good as I hope I may check it yet again. I think my anticipation not being as high as it was for LOTR will give this some upside to surprise me.

Didn't realize that Armitage is the cat who killed Dr Erskine. I won't feel that bad for him when he bites it then :)

Every time I see Thorin pictures, I think he's a Klingon.  Give him a few forehead ridges and BAM!

 Armitage made a GREAT Guy of Gisbourne on that AWFUL Robin Hood series...lol...the series really was on the crap side, but he was definitely the only shining part about it.  I would go so far as to say that he was a better Guy than Michael Wincott in "Prince of Thieves."

Yeah, Ken Stott has had starring roles in a variety of comedy and serious drama series on television in the UK, plus he was damn nasty as the villain in the otherwise pretty awful Plunket & Maclean film.
