E3: METAL GEAR SOLID 3 only available for PS2

Konami of America unveiled the first look at its sequel to METAL GEAR SOLID 2 today at E3. Titled METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER, the game was shown to crowds in the form of a 12-minute trailer. It was also revealed that MGS3 will only be available for Sony's PlayStation 2 and no other game platforms.

Set in a jungle environment, MGS3 is set for release sometime in 2004. Nintendo Gamecube owners won't feel that left out this fall when a different MGS title is released for their system: METAL GEAR SOLID: TWIN SNAKES.
