Electronic Arts has begun shipping copies of its latest boxing game, FIGHT NIGHT 2004, to stores. The title should begin appearing on store shelves this week.

The game company redesigned the engine for the latest FIGHT NIGHT game, introducing a new element called Total Punch Control. The all-analog control system lets the player control the boxer with unprecedented fluidity and precision, using the controller's thumbsticks.

The game features career mode, create-a-player option and supports online gameplay. You can fight 32 of the world's greatest boxers including the sports legends like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard to today's stars such as Lennox Lewis and Roy Jones Jr. Jones Jr. is featured on the game's cover art.

Available for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, FIGHT NIGHT 2004 has been rated T for Teen and retails for $49.99. Additional game information and screenshots can be found at the game's official website.
