Eastman Reveals Live-Action TMNT

There have been reports of Imagi and Warner Bros. getting together to make a TMNT sequel after the 2007 CGI film wound up as a success. While the first reports seem to indicate that the sequel would be CGI, co-creator Kevin Eastman is now confirming rumors to Heavy Metal that a live-action TMNT is on the horizon.
Yes, it is true. Although the CGI film did well enough to warrent a sequel, there has been much talk between Imagi and Warners to do a better "re-invention" (newest Hollywood buzzword) of the TMNT's, in a live action film--like what was done with Batman. Back to basics, back to the origin and the intro of the Shredder, etc...there have been talks, trips to Northampton to talk to Mr Laird, and discussions with the original "first" TMNT film director Steve Barron to come back and do it right--but no official word yet...will keep you posted. I wanted a new CG flick with Shredder but I'll take the live action one. They gotta make the turtles fight kicks ass though, move really fast, ninja style.
Two things for this to be a success.
1. Bring back Corey to do the voice
2. Get Vanilla Ice to do a song & cameo in the movie.
