McFarlane created one thing? Not to equate him with God, but that's like saying God created mankind and now he`s trying to ride it until the wheels fall off. Anyway I really don't think a live action turtle movie would work unless they go the Hulk route. Guys dressed up as turtles will look hella cheesy. I really liked the last movie they did. Well, if they are doing it I wish for once they would stay true to the comic and have the turtles actually use their weapons.

Love the idea of a live action TMNT. I loved the 1st movie was great!! I still watch it from time to time. Needs to be TMNT vs Shedder vs Vulture People. I think Hanso would love that! lol I will even buy your ticket Hanso!..lol

No way a live action TMNT would work anymore. Keep it CGI and low budget and keep them rolling IMO. Heck I am glad they even did toon right this time for Ninja Tribunal prequel series and ignored crappy FF stuff.

I'm surprised they'd actually try to make a live action one. CGI worked very well for the Turtles. I had only one real problem with the first one, and it was the usual AND THEN THE STARS ALIGNED, OPENING UP A PORTAL TO ANOTHER UNIVERSE and all that crap. Why do they always fall back on THE STARS WILL ALIGN SOON?

The vulture people deserve their own movie.

The alignment of the stars is an easy out! There are always some stars in alignment... the whole universe is full of stars. Apparently every star represents a different demon and they all get a fair chance at escaping the dimension X they were banished to! Makes it easier for Vulture People! Live action is a good option, but don't stop the CGI storyline!

I'll never forget sitting in that full theater on opening night back in fifth grade and hearing Raphael say "Damn" within the first 10 minutes of the movie. The entire place said "Ummmmmmmmmmmmm" as only a room full of 10 year olds can.

*sigh* why does everything have to be an origin story? They summed things up pretty nicely in the first two minutes of TMNT. And dudes, rewatch live action Ninja Turtles 2. That's a dark freakin' movie for little kids. The Shredder attempts suicide & Leonardo suffers from a severe bout of existential angst.

Ok. First: Fuck the vulture people. Second: The "re-invention" should be like the comic. The first series. When it was black and white because the red blood was too much for the young readers. I don't mean the movie to be in black and white but they need to stick to that grittyness. Now for some reality. These guys have made a killing off of toys, underwear, lunchboxes, etc. If it's too violant like an R movie would be and like you all want than they can't do that. Do you think that Warner "Just-for-the-money" Brothers will turn that down when they already fucked up the Terminator series by dumbing down the material to a PG-13? Umm... NO! And you can't have them use their weapons on people like the foot clan. Unless they're replaced by machines. That was why the CGI movie was "fun" because they pleased a wide variety of people. When you go the live-action route it's going to be just as cheesy as the first run of movies because of this. What I want: A live-action R movie the way it should be done. AND a CGI movie to please the kiddies and so that Warner "We-fuck-the-well-till-it-spews-out-dirt" Brothers can line their pockets.

Turtles are for kids, why do you want an R version?
